Meet Ashley Andrew

Owner, Clinical Director of IBT, Ed.S., BCBA

Ashley is the owner and director of Innovative Behavioral Therapy. She earned her Educational Specialist degree in 2012 in School Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa. She began her internship and career at a local area education agency in 2011 where she found her passion for helping children with autism and other developmental disabilities in educational settings. Her hope was that by increasing adaptive means of gaining access to what children want and need, they will have increased opportunities to be engaged in the curriculum and with their peers.

Inspired by utilizing ABA in the schools, Ashley completed the coursework, sat, and passed the BCBA exam in 2017. Motivated to lead others, Ashley completed the PK-12 Principalship and Special Education Director program at UNI in 2019.

Throughout the last 11 years of her career working with children with disabilities and their families, Ashley has focused her efforts on learning assessment and intervention strategies to improve the social emotional and behavioral health of students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Her passion has always been focused on enhancing the quality of life for her clients. She hopes that IBT can provide progressive assessment and intervention strategies that improves the family dynamic, enhances quality outcomes for children, and reaches individuals in rural areas.
